Llinos Medi, Leader of the Isle of Anglesey County Council, and Plaid Cymru’s parliamentary candidate for Ynys Môn said: “Unfortunately, the Westminster Conservative Government's record here on Ynys Môn and across north Wales is far from exemplary.
"We have a UK Government who’ve failed to deliver any of the £3.9 billion in HS2 consequential funding owed to Wales, and introduced a bodged last minute and ill thought out promise to electrify the north Wales mainline with funding far below what is needed to actually deliver the project."
Llinos Medi said this following Rishi Sunak's rare visit to Anglesey, highlighting how much Wales is owed due to HS2.
